Mini Greenhouse Rootmaster brown
$31.00
- Mini greenhouse with a watering function that makes indoor cultivation easier than ever.
- Size: 19,5x29x21 cm
The Rootmaster is a mini greenhouse made to make indoor cultivation easy. Thanks to its watering function, you only have to add water to the tray and let the diluted plants germinate. As the roots gradually emerge from the ventilation holes of the plug cells, the root ends dry out and new roots are formed higher up. This type of air pruning creates deep and well-developed root systems. In addition, the plug cells can be opened in the middle, just like a book, which makes it even easier to handle them.
The Rootmaster is made from recyclable materials while its bottom trays and lid is made from polypropylene. The package also contains 8 watering bands (4 in use, 4 spares) that can be rinsed and reused after cultivation.
How to use:
- Assembly. A) Thread a watering band through each plug holder (the middle of the plug cells). B) Hook the plug cell walls together and close. C) Hang the watering band on the pin on one of the ends of the plug holder to deactivate the watering function.
- Sowing. A) Fill the plug cells to halfway with seed compost and pack the compost in tightly so the plugs stay together. Continue to fill the cells with compost but pack it loosely in the cellās upper half. Brush away any soil from the plug holderās baseplate. B) Place the plug holder on the inside ledge of the drip tray and water until the soil in the cells is moist. C) Sow the seeds according to the instructions on the seed packet. Use one or two seeds per cell. D) Put the lid over the mini greenhouse and place it in a warm and bright area, away from direct sunlight.
- Watering. A) Keep the seeds moist by spraying them using a spray bottle. Place the plants in a cool place when the first leaf pair (cotyledons) appear but continue to spray them. IMPORTANT! The watering function should first be used when the second leaf pair (true leaves) appears. This is when the plant will have long enough roots. B) Take the watering band off the pin on the plug holder where watering is to be activated. This can be done at different times for the different plug holders. C) Pour approx. 1 litre of water into the drip tray. Water the plug cell well from above.
